Dean McDermott (born on November 16, 1966 in Toronto, Ontario) is a
Canadian actor who has appeared in countless TV and film roles including the hit
Canadian program Due South as Mountie Constable Turnbull, Kevin Costner film
Open Range as well as numerous guest star roles.
Biography
Dean McDermott is married to Tori
Spelling (whom he met on the set of Mind over Murder). His previous marriage
to TV chef Mary Jo Eustace was dissolved in February 2006. He has two children -
a son Jack Montgomery born in October, 1998 and a daughter Lola born in July,
2005.
Dean McDermott is perhaps best known for his role as Constable Turnbull in the
popular TV show Due South and as Mark Simpson captain of the Steelheads hockey
team, in Power Play.
He received a Gemini Nomination for Best Supporting Actor in 1997 for his
portrayal of small town boy Garet French in Lives of Girls and Women.
